New Year Tornament at Khatib CC!!

There will be a Yu-gi-oh Chinese new year tournament in the month of December 2008 and January 2009.

There will be 8 qualifying rounds for the tournament.

Qualifying Round 1 : 27th December Saturday
Qualifying Round 2 : 28th December Sunday
Qualifying Round 3 : 3rd January Saturday
Qualifying Round 4 : 4th January Sunday
Qualifying Round 5 : 10th January Saturday
Qualifying Round 6 : 11th January Sunday
Qualifying Round 7 : 17th January Saturday
Qualifying Round 8 : 18th January Sunday

The Finals will be on 24th January Saturday
All qualifying rounds including finals will start at 3pm, Registration starts at 2.15pm

Fees: $5 per duelist ( all participants will receive 1 free Korean booster!)

The 1st and 2nd place of each qualifying round will proceed to the finals

The prize for the 1st place of each qualifying round will depend on the number of people attending.

There will be a total of 16 Finalists for the finals

Take note: no matter how many ppl join the qualifying round It will still start no matter what so try ur luck on one of the days or fight for it =)

Prizes for Finals 1st place: 1 Yu-gi-oh Gold series booster box + 1 crimsom crisis booster box

2nd place: 1 Yu-gi-oh Gold series booster box + 1 spell caster's Judgment structured deck

3rd place: 1 Yu-gi-oh Gold series booster box

4th place : 5x Yu-gi-oh gold series booster packs.

5th to 8th place: 3 x Yu-gi-oh gold series booster packs

Tournament line Swiss with cut to top 8 for qualifying rounds , Single elimination for finals

Rules:1)Min 40 cards Max 60 cards, Side deck of up to 15 cards, Extra deck of up to 15 cards
2)No fake cards or proxies allowed.
3)1st sept 2008 ocg ban and restriction list used in this tournament
4)Korean, japanese, tcg and DT cards are allowed for this tournament.

Currently Me and Samuel qualified for the 1st round of qualifying round.
Sam and Christ( the tall guy who work at khatib cc for part time) qualify for the 2nd round of the qualifying round.

Gd luck to those who join for CDL and Khatib CC qualifying rounds. Here is a tip for u all if U wan to qualify for khatib CC tournament All you have to do Is join the one on Sunday because usualy sunday have less ppl joining at khatib =)
